Connective Communication, Part 1

Episode Summary

In this episode, Patrick introduces Connective Communication and walks us through the first of a two-part series discussing communication that reaches beyond a simple exchange of clarity, details, and data and works into the feelings of those we are seeking to lead.

Episode Notes

Connective Communication answers questions and even understands the questions before they're asked. Bring clarity, bring details, and bring data.

In times of stress and uncertainty, if there is a void of information, people will fill it.

Connective communication reaches into the feelings of those you are seeking to lead.

My communication must:

Part 1:

Without connection when you are transmitting information, communication has not taken place. Connective communication moves beyond the employee/employer connection of production and reward.

Without connective communication, perspective is left to the imagination. Connective communication grants perspective and answers the why. When your employee goes home to tell their spouse or family what you said, will it be accurate?

Without connective communication, security is called into question. Connective communication breathes security and establishes trust. Your employees and team members know whether you're telling the whole story.
